What to Expect During Your EVOLVE Appointment
Your EVOLVE session will take place in a state-of-the-art treatment room at Bucky Body Center. Your dedicated aesthetic provider will place the hands-free applicators on your body according to a predetermined treatment plan. Depending on what areas you are treating and what your goals are, your EVOLVE treatment can take as little as 15 min (for EVOLVE Tone) and 20-30 minutes (for EVOLVE Tite). You can do one treatment or all of them at the same appointment time, based on your unique cosmetic goals. Most patients feel comfortable enough during their treatments to catch up on emails, listen to music, read, or chat on the phone.

- How does EVOLVE Tite (skin tightening) work? EVOLVE Tite works by harnessing the power of RF energy to improve skin’s appearance by delivering uniform volumetric heating to the subdermal layer. EVOLVE Tite can be used to improve skin laxity and firmness on the arms, abdomen, and thighs. It simply feels warm on the skin and is a pain-free treatment.
- What areas can I target with EVOLVE Tone (muscle toning)? Evolve Tone is primarily used in the abdomen, buttocks, and arms. The device uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to stimulate involuntary muscle contractions to safely and effectively tone muscles and enhance muscle strength. EVOLVE Tone’s four hands-free applicators are able target precise muscle groups to build muscle strength and dramatically refine the look of muscles.
- How many EVOLVE treatments will I need? Every person is different! Most patients see the best results with three to six treatments spaced one week apart. After the initial three to six treatments, we recommend one maintenance treatment every three months.
- Can I do EVOLVE treatments on my face or my neck? No, EVOLVE treatments are only appropriate for the arms, abdomen, and buttocks. Our sister business – Bucky Plastic Surgery – offers solutions for these areas.
- Do EVOLVE treatments hurt? Treatments using Tite feel mildly pleasant, almost like a hot stone massage! Treatments with the Tone device do produce muscle contractions, in the same fashion as lifting weights – imagine doing 5,000 crunches in just 20 minutes! Some patients report mild soreness the day following their treatment, similar to if they had rigorously worked out in the gym.
- How long will my EVOLVE results last? Your EVOLVE results are likely permanent, but like any natural part of your body, areas treated with EVOLVE are susceptible to weight gain. Patients who maintain a healthy diet and exercise regime will see optimal results that they can enjoy for years to come.
- Am I A Candidate For EVOLVE? People of all adult ages in general good health are good candidates for EVOLVE treatments. Patients who see the best results for EVOLVE Tone (muscle stimulation) are those who are already fit with a healthy ratio of body fat but lack tone or want to enhance muscle definition.
