I can’t say enough about my experience with Dr. Bucky. His professionalism and experience are evident, and he truly is a perfectionist. What impressed me most was the pre-operative and post-operative care I received. Before the surgery, Dr. Bucky provided vitamins to prepare my body, ensuring I was in the best possible condition for the procedure and recovery. I had absolutely no bruising and felt no pain, not even needing the prescribed pain medication. I felt amazing right after surgery! The post-operative care was equally outstanding. I am so pleased to tell every one of my fantastic results from surgical treatments thanks to Dr. Bucky. I am an older female who always wanted to look her best; however, as we age, our looks change considerably. I choose Dr. Bucky to do the surgery due to his meticulous understanding of my needs and desired results and his profound reputation in the plastic surgeons medical field. He recommended several surgical procedures for me to be completed at one time. That may seem like a lot at one time; however, it actually worked out perfectly for me. It does take a few months to see the actual results but it is worth the wait. I am so pleased with my results and I truly feel like a new person. There was also an emotional effect for me just hoping that I would look like the person I wanted to be. I don’t look in the mirror and have tears come to my eyes anymore because of how I saw myself prior to surgery. I now smile and what a good feeling! When I first started with my trainer Andrew I had two surgeons who wanted to fuse my spine because of the sciatica pain I was experiencing down to my feet. Fast forward a few years and no surgery, no pain. He has great knowledge of anatomy, and how are  musculature can support skeleton.  He listens and adapts sessions based on your input. Each session begins with the question, “What are you feeling?”.  I would recommend him highly to anyone not willing to accept the idea that limitations and pain are part of getting old.

The staff at the Bucky Body Center are professional and skilled. I recently completed my V Tonal treatment at the body center. Treatment to strengthen the vaginal wall, painless 30 min treatments.  I can now hold my urine, prior I would have to urinate so often I was afraid to take long car rides. Now I am confident! I don’t have to worry about coughing or laughing when my bladder is full! My RN Jodie , was skillful, provided privacy and made me feel very comfortable during my treatments. Recommend this treatment to anyone who has urinary Incontinence.

I go to the Bucky Body Center to work with Functional Pattern Trainer, Andrew Krewatch. I’ve been working with Andrew for nearly 3 months and,  to be honest, his feedback and instruction changed my life within the first week.

Andrew helps me understand how my body is used to moving and supporting itself as well as how I can make adjustments to move more effectively. He is knowledgable, non-judgmental, encouraging, and supportive. Since working with him, I have not only improved my strength and stability, but I can trust my body with movements that I’ve had to approach with caution for years.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude to the team at Bucky Body Center. Kudos to Dr. Bucky for recruiting the best team in the Philadelphia area! I was skeptical of beginning my journey at Bucky Body Center not knowing whether the treatments would be the answer to many years of suffering from chronic lower back/SI joint and hip pain that still lingered post arthroscopic hip labral repair. After years of opting for just another injection, which only masked the pain I was suffering from, and continued build-up of inflammation, I opted to try manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) massage treatments with Sheila only hoping for the best. Let me just say, I immediately felt the benefits of Sheila’s treatments including reduced inflammation in my hip joint, increased mobility/flexibility throughout my joints and overall wellness through the release of toxins and the “detoxifying” effects that are often the most wanted results of MLD. Sheila is conscious of the time she has with you and ensures 100% of the time is spent making you feel the best version of you. No one treatment with Sheila is the same. We evaluate prior to each session how my body reacted to the previous treatment(s) in conjunction with how my body feels post-everyday activity/training (more to come here!) to game plan on the most effective sequence for that days treatment. Her expertise and precision in this field makes her one of the best!

Bucky Body Center also has one of (what I think) is the best cryotherapy chambers to offer to its clients. When beginning MLD with Sheila I opted to add-on the cryotherapy treatments post-massage, which I believe only intensifies the benefits of MLD and promotes a quicker response to the treatments. I would highly recommend this to anyone seeing Sheila to add cryotherapy to aid in your recovery from post-orthopedic surgeries or injuries.

It only took a few months (which is not long considering the length of time I’ve been dealing with my aches and pains) for me to feel my body was restored and capable of functioning day-to-day with minimal pain. However, Sheila had recommended that in order to take things to the next level and continue my upward recovery trend, I work with Andrew who specializes in functional patterns trainings at Bucky Body Center. From our first session together until now, Andrew continues to amaze me at his in-depth knowledge of how our muscles and joints work in conjunction with one another and also his ability to evaluate the way you move to identify potential issues within our own structures that may be the root of our pain. Andrew’s extensive knowledge on this form of training (which is unlike anything I have done before) guides you through training sessions specific to your body and its needs (and yes, he makes just breathing seem like the hardest thing to do!) to strengthen areas of weakness or those where engagement is non-existent, enabling your body to learn how it “should” move and what that feels like in the act of doing so.

Now several months into functional patterns training with Andrew followed by weekly treatments with Sheila, I wake up most days with very little to no lower back/SI joint/glute/hip pain. This is something that I did not think was feasible after years and years of constant pain. I cannot thank Andrew and Sheila enough for being the “A-team” I needed to revive my body from years of pain and endure the active lifestyle I choose to live pain-free.

Shiela, an LMT, does an amazing lymphatic drainage massage. I’ve been seeing her at least once a month (when I overindulge sometimes 2x) since they’ve opened. She also incorporates small cupping! One of my favorite things about it is her genuine, caring personality. Shiela helps you understand what she’s doing, why and how your body is benefiting from it. I do the “Shape Shifter”, which includes the compression suite for 40 minutes directly after the massage.

Highly recommenced, along with the cryo therapy and red light bed!

I had the opportunity to attend a special wellness event at Bucky Body Center and experience a massage with Melissa Gasson. She is a licensed massage therapist and entrepreneur who is the founder of Healed NYC. Her talents have earned her a world-class slew of clients that include professional athletes and celebrities. With this exclusivity in mind, it’s no wonder that Bucky Body Center would opt to partner with her to provide amazing relief and relaxation bodywork to their clients!

This was my first experience with the Bucky Body Center, but it will definitely not be my last! The facility is easy to find and designed beautifully. It has an open and airy type of environment, which is immediately both soothing and energizing! My primary contact to set this appointment was Majo Monroy, who is the Center Coordinator. She quite literally redefines customer service! She is warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient, and a wonderful advocate for what the center can do to help you in your wellness journey. There were additional practitioners and staff there on the day of my appointment who were equally friendly and engaging!

I would recommend the BBC to anyone who is interested in exploring their options in the wellness world. The possibilities seem endless here!

SIMPLY AMAZING RESULTS! I have been working with Sheila at the Bucky Body Center for the past 6 months to help address limited mobility in my knees due to arthritis. Sheila’s approach of combining manual lymphatic drainage massage, structural techniques, cupping, and red lightstim therapy has produced incredible results! The constant aching has disappeared, my range of motion has improved, stairs are no longer a challenge and the swelling in my knees is gone. Going into my procedure, I was concerned about undergoing a surgery while awake, even a minimally invasive one; those concerns turned out to be unfounded. The Body Center did a great job getting pre-op medications to me by mail and called many times before the day of the procedure to answer my questions and ensure I was ready to move forward. On the day of my surgery the care and facility were both phenomenal. The procedure itself ended up being a total non-event: it was quickly performed by friendly professionals with a level of discomfort that was comparable to a stubbed toe. The office called me the next day to check on my recovery and, even though I reported no complications, the surgeon followed up not long after for a second check in. I was back to work minutes after the procedure ended (literally, not figuratively) and am glad that I didn’t have to undergo the disruption and risk of anesthesia. And, maybe most importantly, I’m pleased with the results, which have exceeded my expectations. All in all I would strongly recommend the Body Center to those considering procedures it offers.
